Does the New Kerastase Paris, france Chroma Sensitive Cleansing Product Prevent Hair Coloration from Fading?

Hello and happy hump day, babe. Just a simple heads up for the cuties with color-treated hair and the silicone-free product enthusiasts out there.

High-class line Kerastase Paris comes out with a high priced yet promising fresh shampoo. It’s named Chroma Sensitive Cleansing Product ($42 for a 6.8-oz. container), a low-foam cleanser designed to gently clean without washing away locks color.

Kerastase claims, amongst other things, that their low-foam, low-friction “Colour Protect System,” a mix of a mild cleansing realtor (1/4 of the recipe) plus a deep conditioning agent (the other 3/4), smoothes the surface of every hair, preventing coloration pigments from avoiding.

They suggest deploying it for the first three shampoos following a coloration service, and then switching every other wash with your regular shampoo.

Recently i got some chunky caramel highlights, but I’ve shampooed many times since then, therefore I’m able to follow the direction to a first tee (this time), but I’michael still giving it a try now with high hopes.

I’onal only used it several times so far, and at this time I haven’t observed any impact on my highlights, which could indicate it’s working; even so, beyond its color-preserving characteristics, I am already loving how well this detangles. I also like that that doesn’t make my scalp feel most flaky and funky (the actual telltale signs of a negative shampoo). Oh, and I think it smells great too, like crimson gummy bears (weird, I understand!).

Washing with it isn’capital t like washing having a traditional/regular foaming shampoo because the feel is closer to a conditioner. It’s solid and doesn’t lather way up into a fluffy memory foam. I’m a fervent believer within frequent conditioner laundering, so it reminds me of this, but if you’re employed to shampoos with scrubbing bubbles, it might take serious amounts of adjust.

It’s sheer salon expensive, however that’s Kerastase for you. If you’re keen on the line, swear by silicone-free locks products, and/or you’re planning for a color change soon, you might want to give it a try.
