How Do You Feel about Changing Your Hair Color?

The reason why I Color My HairI’ve changed our hair color so many times over the years that I’mirielle not even sure exactly what my natural curly hair color is any longer (I just know it contains some gray). Sure, despite all the several things I fear about our society — underground caverns, the coming zombie apocalypse, submarines, as well as earthworms come to mind — I’michael downright courageous in relation to the color of my own coif.

Senior year while attending college, I wore it mahogany brown with a solitary blonde streak within the bangs, which I retained long, swept to the side and always, ALWAYS tucked behind my left ear. After graduating, hoping it would cause me to feel look older plus more responsible, I trekked along San Francisco’s steep hillsides with long, fly black hair streaming behind me. Quite a while later, after a gut-wrenching split up, I entered our red phase, hacking my hair right into a short bob and adding angry vermillion blotches. And when I thought I’d finally moved on, so did our hair, which morphed into an optimistic fawn brown with sunny golden streaks.

Whilst I haven’t produced any big head of hair color changes these days, I’ve made some minor ones on the way, like the dainty, honey-colored blotches I wore final spring, the delicate burgundy pieces very last fall or the caramel ombre highlights I’m sporting right now.

Oh, sure, I also color my head of hair to cover my dull roots (which, slowly but surely, multiply every year), yet that’s never been the main reason. I do it more to explore various areas of my personality, for you to reinvent myself, also to show the world how I sense.
