But even with their efforts at making it seem like genuine footage fail there are many more problems. I’ve listed Half a dozen of the biggest ones that irritated me while I watched it.

Problem #1 On the back cover of the DVD it claims that this movie contains strong sexual content and extreme violence. Now forgive me if i’m wrong but exactly how many professional ghost searcher decided to have sex in the house which essentially was John Wayne Gacy’s?

Problem #2 Don’t come with an IMDB.com page where I can tell the actors work listed that was filmed/released after this film had been supposedly shot.

Problem #3 Identified Footage is not official crime scene footage, no matter what a person say. Crime scene video footage is typically shot by the authorities department after the crime has become committed, not video from the crime occurring.

Problem #4 Ghouls tend to haunt 1 or 2 things, first they haunt the area they died, second that they haunt a specific person and also follow that individual. Now if the assembly team hadn’t said this is real I could understand the difference in the ghost rules nevertheless they claim its real.

I grew up inside houses that are about the ages of the house they supposedly used and they don’t have you walk through rooms to get to other areas. Like I said it appears like an old farmhouse that has been updated in the past.

Aside from those problems your actress (again all people within this are actors) who plays your psychic is just horrible. This particular team claims that this isn’capital t their first job like a ghost hunters, but they don’capital t seem very prepared when they set up, they leave things all over the place instead of holding on to these, they show up to the site through the night instead of setting up during the day for starters problems with the teams activities.

The FX’s are very low quality which isn’t the main problem. My own issues with the FX are generally that they use some way to simple ones to often. Ths issue is when they have doors slamming. The particular shots of doors slamming (there are a lot) are only showing about half the door (constantly the top half), which means that both someone is just out of the camera’ersus view or a string/rope that the photographic camera could see did the filthy work of slamming the doorways.

I could go on and on but I feel you all get the point.

OVERALL

This is a movie that wanted to be over it was but the team that will made it didn’t know how to obtain it there. Sadly this film had two things going in opposition to it before I also watched it, this first is it was made by The Asylum and second they will spent to much time expressing it was real footage. The simplest way to release a found footage movie is to do what the Blair Witch film did, release it as well as let the audience try and find out if its real or not.
